Good prices but often long lines
I have moved to NJ 3 years ago and I have been filling gas for my 2 vehicles from this Costco Gas station since then, except a few occasions when we had long trips. I am always apprehensive about someone damaging my vehicle during fill ups due to careless handling of the fuel dispenser and thus causing scratches and also by closing the fuel cap incorrectly. The staff here is friendly and most of them handle the vehicles carefully during fill ups. When I was here for the first time, I offered tip to the attendant who politely refused saying that they are not supposed to accept any tips. I think in all other gas stations in NJ, tip is expected. On weekends, there will be long queues here as the shoppers get the gas filled up as well as part of their weekend Costco shopping. Early mornings and late evenings are best times to have a quick fill-up. And now with that Costco accepts VISA (the only accepted card), you can either use your Costco VISA card or any other VISA card that gives you better rewards. I heard a colleague of my wife saying this Costco has the lowest gas price in the whole of NJ. I am not sure how much of that is true. However, I always find the gas prices lower than any other nearby gas stations
Great price, it seems that you get your tank fill for less. I have been to other gas stations around and it felt that I had to pay more. Like they mess with the measurements, if you know what I mean. That's why I rather go to Costco. It's always full at rush hour and weekends. But they usually are fast. Unless you get a big truck or a landscaper with 10 Jerry cans...
Long lines but low price plus cash back at the end of the year makes it worth it (most of the time). 5 stars if they could do something about the long lines.
